Resolved - Summary

On 8 September 2026, a network outage in our US data center caused a temporary disruption to the SupplyPoint platform. From 14:37 to 19:05 UTC (4 hours 28 minutes), customers hosted in the US were unable to sign in to the Portal, Sync service was unavailable and reports/order were not being sent.

What happened

A network outage disrupted communication between the redundant database servers that keep the platform continuously synchronized. As a protective measure, the databases entered a read-only state, which blocked activity until connectivity was restored.

Data integrity

Because the databases were read-only throughout, no changes were possible. No customer data was lost. Service was restored from a fully current data copy. This was a service availability issue only — no unauthorized access to customer data occurred.

Resolution
Once network connectivity was restored, we verified that the synchronized data copies were intact and complete, then returned the platform to full service. Portal sign-in and Sync service was restored and all pending orders/report were sent. We also confirmed that the platform's high-availability protection is fully back in place. Full service was restored as of 19:05 UTC.

Preventing recurrence

We're reviewing this incident and strengthening our database failover systems so this type of network disruption is managed automatically, without customer impact.
